Charting our own path: Reflections on our first year of independence

One year ago, we set out to chart our own path. We carved out Omnissa from a division within a larger company into an independent organization with a clear purpose to empower employees to do their best work from anywhere through smart, seamless, and secure experiences. Today, I’m filled with gratitude as I look back at what we’ve accomplished together in such a short time, and our momentum is only accelerating.
Why the digital workplace demanded a new approach
The way we work has changed forever. Distributed teams, fragmented IT environments, and rising security challenges demand a new approach—one that unifies, simplifies, and empowers.
While many organizations have struggled to stitch together point solutions, we saw an opportunity to deliver a single, comprehensive platform that brings together UEM, VDI, digital employee experience (DEX), and security under one roof. Today we’re expanding our presence in a $35 billion market, where Omnissa is the only company offering a comprehensive set of truly unified solutions that help customers strengthen security while delivering and managing seamless employee experiences. And we’re not just growing; we’re thriving. Over the last year, we received top industry recognitions, expanded our offices globally, announced breakthrough product innovations and accelerated global partner growth.
Our vision for an autonomous workspace—one that is self-configuring, self-healing, and self-securing—has already begun to take shape. We’re helping businesses move beyond reactive IT management, enabling them to build environments that autonomously adapt and improve security and deliver delightful experiences in real-time to meet their evolving needs.
Innovation as our constant
The complexities of becoming independent also came with the freedom to move faster and dream bigger, and our focus on innovation has only grown stronger. As we continue to grow, our commitment to innovation remains unwavering.
Over the past year, we’ve expanded our platform and launched new capabilities that bring us closer to our vision of a truly autonomous digital workspace. We’ve enhanced Horizon and Workspace ONE with industry-first innovations, such as the release of the new modern architecture for Workspace ONE UEM SaaS, plus new options for customers with data sovereignty requirements to adopt Workspace ONE with in-territory, partner-hosted and supported environments. We also expanded support for Windows 365 and Amazon WorkSpaces Core through Horizon. This continued focus on innovation has also led to Omnissa earning recognition from top industry analyst firms for our leadership in DEX and VDI/DaaS.
We’re continuously embedding advanced AI throughout our platform with solutions like our upcoming Omni AI assistant, and copilot-style analytics that empower IT teams to manage millions of devices with intelligence and ease. With insights from 50 million devices worldwide, we’re uniquely positioned to harness AI in ways that create real value for our customers. As the next generation of AI technology emerges, we’re ready to lead and help our customers stay ahead.
Earning trust, together
What has really stood out to me most during this journey is the trust and partnership of our customers. Not only have our customers stayed with us through this transition, but many have deepened their investments in our platform. That trust fuels us every day.
Our partner ecosystem is also growing with industry leaders like IGEL, Nutanix, and CrowdStrike which provides our customers with even more choice and solutions. These strategic collaborations enable us to broaden our capabilities and enhance the flexibility and scalability of our offerings. By integrating our solutions with best-in-class technologies, we deliver greater value and empower customers to do their best work.
Another key to our growth is our newly launched Omnissa Partner Program. We are working closely with channel partners to expand their businesses and deliver greater value to Omnissa customers. We are seeing strong engagement from these partners as we help them unlock new opportunities and innovate alongside our solutions.
Accomplishing the extraordinary together
For me, the real story of this year isn’t just about metrics or milestones—it’s about people. It’s about the incredible team at Omnissa, whose commitment, creativity, and collaboration have made what many said was impossible—possible.
We know there is much work ahead. But we have the team, the technology, the customer trust, and the momentum to continue shaping the future of the digital workplace.
