Omnissa was also named a Leader in the UEM for Apple Devices vendor assessment. The report also observed, “Automated update management, support for rapid security responses, and day-zero compatibility for Apple OS major updates provide assurance for enterprise and regulated environments.”
IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Unified Endpoint Management Software for Frontline/IoT Devices 2025–2026 Vendor Assessment
In the vendor assessment for Unified Endpoint Management Software for Frontline and IoT Devices, Omnissa was positioned in the Leaders Category. The report noted, “Workspace ONE UEM provides robust management, automation, and analytics for ruggedized endpoints, including barcode scanners, printers, digital signage, and point-of-sale devices from primary OEMs (Zebra, Honeywell, Samsung, etc.).” It went on to say, “Shared device workflows and custom launchers enable efficient onboarding, rapid user authentication, and secure device handoffs in high-turnover, shift-based environments.”
IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Client Endpoint Management Software for Windows Device Management 2025–2026 Vendor Assessment
In Windows device management, the report noted, “Workspace ONE UEM enables seamless management of Windows PCs, physical and virtual servers, and supported IoT devices using modern MDM, traditional management, and co-management alongside SCCM, facilitating staged migrations and hybrid environments.” The assessment also noted, “The solution's AI-driven automation — via Freestyle Orchestrator and intelligent agents — streamlines onboarding, configuration, compliance, and remediation of Windows endpoints, reducing IT manual effort.”
“Across all of our evaluations, we continue to see organizations looking for ways to simplify operations and improve security across diverse device environments,” said Phil Hochmuth, IDC. “Omnissa’s position reflects its strengths in cross-platform support, automation, analytics, and integration capabilities that help organizations manage complexity more effectively and support modern device ecosystems.”
