What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Payroll Analyst you will be responsible for the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of payroll for our employees in the Latin America and Canada region. Here is a breakdown:
 

  • Payroll Processing:
    • Perform end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Canada, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Data Management:
    • Collect and verify payroll data from various sources, including timekeeping systems, garnishment, and HR records.
    • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate payroll reports for internal use and external audits.
    • Analize payroll data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on payroll data analysis.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure all payroll activities comply with legal requirements and company policies.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate payroll documentation and records for auditing purposes.
  • Customer Service:
    • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, management, and internal business partners.
    • Resolve payroll issues and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.


What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Multi-region or province payroll processing preferred.
  • Preferred experience with Workday and ADP Celergo
  • Preferred experience in Federal/State/Local or Provincial labor payroll including garnishments, bonus payments, and special payments.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills.

Travel Expectations: 10% to corporate offices or as needed

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? 
This team is led by the Payroll Manager located in Austin Texas.  The manager brings over 20 years of payroll experience not only in the US but international payroll as well.  He has served as Payroll Manager since day one of Omnissa.  The manager encourages and supports professional growth within Omnissa.  The team consists of individuals located in the US and India with growth to Costa Rica.  Come join this growing Omnissa Payroll team.
