The role:

We’re seeking a dynamic, execution-focused leader with a proven history of partnering with GTM functions to drive operational excellence, maximize revenue performance, and accelerate growth. . This is a high-impact role for a hands-on executive who thrives on driving measurable results, solving complex problems, and building / optimizing processes. Reporting directly to the CFO, the ideal candidate will be  a trusted thought partner to our executive team, comfortable at collaborating across functions, and leverage rigorous analytics to drive informed decision making. We are looking for someone who leads with vision, loves to win, and will ensure that our operational performance supports our broader business objectives.

This role will report directly to our CFO.

As Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Operations, you’ll oversee all aspects of revenue generation and retention and ensure sales, marketing, and customer success are strategically aligned and successfully enabling each other’s performance objectives. Through collaboration, data-driven insights, and process optimization, you will help these teams perform at their highest potential.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background and experience scaling revenue operations, particularly within a SaaS environment.

The Work:  

• Strategic Leadership: Serve as a critical business partner to GTM and finance functions to analytically evaluate revenue performance, identify strategic growth opportunities, and “look around corners” to flag risk to Omnissa’s growth objectives.

• Process Optimization: Assess and introduce best practices across revenue processes, including lead and pipeline management, territory planning, compensation frameworks, and the formulation of performance standards for sales, marketing, SDR, and customer success teams.  Ensure we have clear insight into internal process challenges that negatively impact the sales teams ability to stay externally focus a majority of the time.

• Territory planning: Identify the expansion opportunities with the install base, as well as growth potential in whitespace territories and accounts.

• Capacity planning: Ensure we have the proper amount of sales capacity at the best cost to productivity ratios possible to capture the growth opportunities in the market.

• Technology Management: Oversee the optimization of Omnissa’s revenue technology stack to ensure seamless operations and data integrity.  Bring in new technology solutions and methodologies to provide better insight into the business trends, and and speed up the processes that may be causing internal friction and drag on sales productivity.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage data analytics to generate insights on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management. Set key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess success and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Team Development: Mentor, and lead, a high-performing revenue operations team. Create and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships teams to ensure seamless execution of revenue strategies and initiatives.

• Financial Forecasting: Collaborate closely with Revenue leadership and the finance team to develop revenue forecasts and budgets, ensuring precise and timely reporting.

What you’ll bring:

• A strong professional background in Sales Operations, Business Operations, and Revenue Operations.

• Extensive leadership experience, mentoring and developing professionals in business operations across sales, marketing, and customer success.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully scaling Revenue Operations in a high-growth technology startup environment (preferably SaaS).

• Expertise in optimizing CRM usage, marketing automation and demand generation tools, and Customer Success technologies.

• Proficient in analytics, territory modeling, Total Addressable Market (TAM) modeling, compensation structures, and quota design.

• Highly motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to make a significant impact in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong ability to collaborate with Executive leadership and influence cross-departmental efforts.
