Introducing Omnissa Cloud PC: Secure Cloud PCs at your fingertips

At Omnissa ONE 2026, we are excited to announce Omnissa Cloud PC, a new offering that delivers secure, cloud-hosted Horizon desktops paired with the full stack of Workspace ONE management, security, and digital employee experience (DEX). Omnissa Cloud PC delivers a turnkey service available in a variety of sizes tailored to suit customers’ capacity needs.   

Why we built Omnissa Cloud PC

VDI and DaaS have come a long way, and a growing segment of customers are ready for the next step: their PC, fully in the cloud. As we listened to those customers, three needs came up consistently. Firstly, they want to move to a predictable, fixed-cost pricing model for desktops in the cloud. Secondly, they want cloud PCs managed the same way as every other endpoint, including the same console, same policies, same workflows, rather than a separate system that adds operational overhead. And thirdly, they want the freedom to choose which cloud they deploy on. Omnissa Cloud PC was designed around all three. 

Targeted for availability early next year, Cloud PC gives IT teams transparent fixed-priced desktop options, including capacity bundled in , coupled with industry-leading management and experience with Workspace ONE. Cloud PC is planned to launch initially with 1. AWS capacity and 2. bring-your-own capacity option on AWS, with more hyperscaler options planned to follow.

Reduce cost and risk with fixed-priced desktop models and capacity provider choice

By bringing Cloud PC to market, Omnissa is the only EUC-focused vendor that provides virtual desktops ranging from on-premises VDI to hybrid DaaS, and now Cloud PCs. Desktop models will be offered in different sizes across different geographies, meaning IT can right-size cost and performance for every user and workload instead of paying for capacity they don't need.

AWS support comes first, with other hyperscalers planned next, giving organizations multi-cloud choice that reduces exposure to price changes. A bring-your-own-capacity option lets customers use existing hyperscaler capacity for their Cloud PC deployment.

One console for simplified management

Cloud PC is managed only through Workspace ONE UEM, giving administrators a single console for Cloud PC desktops alongside physical PCs, mobile devices, and more. Existing Workspace ONE UEM customers can reuse their current tenant, making Cloud PC a natural extension of infrastructure they already run rather than a new system to learn.

Every deployment includes white-glove onboarding to deliver better time-to-value and remove the operational burden that typically comes with standing up a new VDI or DaaS environment.

A premium end-user experience that improves productivity

Cloud PC delivers a premium digital employee experience through the Omnissa Blast Extreme protocol, which maintains high-quality sessions across constrained, high-latency, or lossy networks, as well as graphics-heavy workloads. Users can connect from thin clients, browsers, mobile devices, or desktops, including Linux and Mac, giving IT the broadest client reach available.

Behind that experience, DEX session telemetry gives IT deep visibility into login-duration breakdowns, latency, frame rate, and bandwidth. Proactive DEX alerting flags degraded sessions before users report them, cutting down on help-desk escalations and keeping teams productive.
