- July 14, 2025
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – July 15, 2025 – Omnissa, a leading digital work platform company, today celebrates its first anniversary as an independent company following a breakthrough year of enterprise customer expansion, industry recognition, and strategic product innovation. Omnissa has rapidly established its presence in the $35 billion digital workspace management market by delivering an AI-driven digital work platform that simplifies IT operations, strengthens security, and improves employee productivity across the enterprise.
“Our trajectory over the last year validates the demand for a truly autonomous digital workspace and strong platform ecosystem. While others talk about the future of work, we're delivering it today with proven technology that enterprises trust with their most critical operations,” said Shankar Iyer, CEO of Omnissa. “We combine management, security and employee experience on a single platform to transform end user computing from a cost center into a strategic enabler. Our customers are seeing dramatic efficiency gains, enabling smarter ways of working, all while strengthening their security posture.”
Market Momentum and Global Expansion
Omnissa continues to accelerate its momentum with enterprise customers serving seven of the top 10 Fortune 500 companies, the Top 10 largest global banks and 9 of the top 10 US healthcare systems and retailers. In its first year, Omnissa successfully maintained top customer ARR and business stability while standing up the infrastructure to be an independent business in just nine months.
As part of its strategic expansion over the past year, the company launched the Omnissa Partner Program to accelerate global partner growth and make it easier for partners to do business with Omnissa. The company also unveiled a state-of-the-art Executive Briefing Center at its global headquarters in Mountain View, California, and expanded its international presence with a new office in Chennai—further reinforcing its global reach and commitment to customers.
Leading through Product Innovation and Industry Recognition
Over the past year, Omnissa has strengthened its position as a trusted digital workspace player—delivering breakthrough innovations across its platform and with consistent recognition from independent industry analysts. Highlights from this landmark year include:
Workspace ONE UEM
- The release of the new modern architecture for Workspace ONE UEM SaaS marked a transformational shift, delivering a microservices-based foundation that improves speed, scalability, resilience, and maintainability. In addition, it enables customers to embrace ML/AI-based automations of common tasks to reduce management costs while increasing device hygiene and reducing security risk.
- Workspace ONE also expanded its endpoint management capabilities by delivering broader device support. New features include support for Apple Declarative Device Management for iOS, Apple Platform SSO for Okta, Google Android Management API (AMAPI) for work profile enrollments, Windows 11 multi-user, and app management for Linux.
- Omnissa is helping customers with data sovereignty requirements to adopt Workspace ONE with in-territory, partner-hosted and supported environments. Now in limited availability across Germany and Austria, Workspace ONE customers can leverage the advantages of a highly scalable, cloud-native SaaS architecture while maintaining regulatory requirements for data sovereignty and security.
- Omnissa continued to earn industry recognition as a leader for its UEM solutions over the past year, including the Omdia Universe: Unified Endpoint Management 2025.
Horizon
- Momentum behind Horizon continues to build, driven by continued innovation and industry validation – as highlighted by its recognition as a Leader in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Desktop as a Service (DaaS).
- Omnissa introduced new Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and DaaS innovations to empower IT teams with even more performance, flexibility and cost efficiencies, including Horizon Cloud support of Windows 365 and Amazon WorkSpace Core environments, and Horizon 8 supporting Amazon WorkSpaces Core automated provisioning.
- Redefining how IT manages apps, Omnissa released new App Volumes support for physical Windows desktops, greatly reducing traditional app management time and cost. In addition, App Volumes expanded support for cloud-based VDI and app streaming services, including Amazon WorkSpaces Core, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop App attach.
Digital employee experience (DEX)
- Omnissa DEX had a breakthrough year, being recognized as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Employee Experience Management Tools and ranking among the three highest scoring vendors across all five Use Cases in the 2025 Gartner® Critical Capabilities for DEX Management Tools.
- Omnissa was also named a leader in the SPARK Matrix™ End-User Experience Management, Q4 2024, recognizing Workspace ONE for its comprehensive technology and strong customer impact in digital employee experience.
- Omnissa further expanded employee experience optimization by rolling out powerful new capabilities like the launch of Playbooks and Quickflows in addition to advanced mobile device metrics and Web app performance.
Security and compliance
- To address the increasing complexity of mobile threats in the enterprise, Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense introduced new capabilities, including support for smart group assignments and dual enrollment for Android devices using Work Profile and COPE mode—strengthening phishing and content protection capabilities.
- Omnissa also expanded security signal sharing with support for the open-source Continuous Access Evaluation Protocol (CAEP), enabling integrations with identity providers like Okta and Thales.
- Omnissa reaffirmed its security-first approach by joining the CISA Secure by Design pledge -- demonstrating a continued commitment to building secure software from the ground up.
"The digital workspace market is shifting toward platforms that unify endpoint management, app delivery, and user experience. AI is becoming a core enabler of this transformation—allowing IT teams to see and process more information about endpoints, automate tasks, resolve issues faster, and adapt to user needs in real time. Omnissa’s focus on autonomous workspace capabilities aligns with this broader trend toward integrated, intelligent digital work environments," said Phil Hochmuth, research vice president, IDC.
Expanded Ecosystem through Strategic Partnerships
Building on a year of strong momentum, Omnissa has strengthened its platform by forging strategic partnerships that enhance integration capabilities, security, and choice for its customers.
- Strengthened cybersecurity capabilities through a new partnership with CrowdStrike, delivering end-to-end threat visibility, interconnected vulnerability detection, and automated remediation.
- Partnered with IGEL to deliver joint support for IGEL OS and IGEL Managed Hypervisor, allowing organizations to simplify endpoint operations while improving control and consistency across distributed environments.
- Expanded integration capabilities with Nutanix to bring Horizon support to Nutanix AHV, giving customers more choice in virtualization infrastructure and enabling simplified, cost-effective desktop deployments.
Looking Ahead
As the digital workplace grows more complex and security risks escalate, Omnissa is empowering organizations to move toward an autonomous workspace—delivering smart, seamless, and secure environments that elevate the employee experience. Backed by a year of platform innovation, customer momentum, and industry recognition, Omnissa will continue to advance its autonomous workspace vision through greater AI-driven innovation and an evolving partner ecosystem—empowering customers to modernize IT, boost productivity, and enable people to do their best work from any location and any device.
