Apple has officially announced that the latest version of their Operating Systems will be generally available on September 15th. This includes iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, visionOS 26, tvOS 26 and watchOS 26. Alongside this, Apple also introduced its newest iPhone hardware. At Omnissa, we are committed to enabling organizations to adopt these advancements without delay. We are pleased to announce Day 0 support for Apple’s latest releases across all supported platforms and devices. Additionally, we plan to support the latest iPhone models, which will be available on September 19th.
Comprehensive Day 0 readiness
1. Addition of new management capabilities
Apple’s latest software update introduces several enhancements to Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Declarative Device Management (DDM). Workspace ONE has incorporated these updates into our platform to provide IT administrators with advanced configuration options, improved compliance controls, and enhanced automation capabilities. With Workspace ONE UEM, the following options are now available:
New profile keys for the following payloads: Application Access, Extensible SSO, Managed Relay, VPN, Web Content Filter and Wi-Fi.
New profile payloads with DDM such as Safari Settings and Audio Accessory Settings.
New keys to skip the following screens during onboarding: Additional Privacy Settings, Multi-Tasking Pane, OS Showcase, Tips and Unlock with Apple Watch.
2. Workspace ONE applications supported on Apple’s latest releases
All Workspace ONE applications have been rigorously tested and officially supported for Apple’s latest releases. This guarantees a consistent, secure, and high-performance experience for end users, regardless of the device or platform they are using. You can find the minimum supported versions of these applications here.
3. Support for upcoming iPhone models
Workspace ONE UEM is actively preparing support for Apple’s newly announced iPhones (iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the first ever iPhone Air). While these devices are expected to be available starting September 19th, we are currently working on seeding and validating support to ensure they are fully manageable through our platform as soon as they reach users’ hands. This ensures enterprises can confidently deploy and manage the new iPhones without disruption from day one of availability.
Accelerating innovation through Apple GitHub integration
To further strengthen our ability to deliver timely updates, we have implemented integration with Apple’s GitHub repository. This integration allows us to automatically generate new payloads and keys for DDM as and when they are published by Apple. By streamlining this process, we significantly reduce turnaround times and ensure that our customers benefit from the latest Apple capabilities without delay. This strategic enhancement positions Omnissa Workspace ONE to provide even faster and more reliable Day 0 support in the future.
