Recently, Omnissa was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Endpoint Management Tools and today, we’re raising the bar yet again. We’re thrilled to announce that in the Gartner® Critical Capabilities for Endpoint Management Tools report, Omnissa scored highest in every single Use Case.
This isn’t just recognition — we believe, it’s validation of our relentless commitment to transforming endpoint management. Gartner® evaluated 16 vendors across four critical Use Cases, and Omnissa scored the highest in all of them:
- Unified Endpoint Management (UEM): 4.29 out of 5.0
- Autonomous Endpoint Management: 4.95 out of 5.0
- Security-Centric Management: 4.8 out of 5.0
- Frontline Device Management: 4.61 out of 5.0
We believe these recognitions from Gartner® validate what customers already know: Omnissa delivers secure, intelligent, and autonomous endpoint experiences at scale.
Why Omnissa got recognized — and why it matters
Unified endpoint management (UEM)

Workspace ONE UEM isn’t just another management tool — it’s a modern, cloud-native solution built to simplify and scale the management and security for vastly different devices, apps, and services while reducing endpoint complexity and cost. With advanced automation, zero-trust security, built-in user privacy, and rich telemetry insights, Workspace ONE UEM empowers organizations to deliver secure, seamless experiences across all endpoints, including Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS/visionOS, Android, Linux, ChromeOS, and frontline devices (like shared handhelds and kiosks).
Over the past year, we’ve maintained a rapid pace of innovation to deliver Windows server management and next-gen Windows management; same-day support for Apple’s latest releases across all supported platforms and devices; and expanded support for frontline and IoT use cases.
Autonomous endpoint management

Scoring a 4.95 out of 5.0, we received our highest score in the autonomous endpoint management use case. We believe this near-perfect rating reflects more than innovation — it’s proof of our bold, strategic vision to redefine endpoint management.
We’re not simply automating tasks. We’re building autonomous workspaces — environments that proactively self-configure, self-heal, and self-secure. The heart of this transformation is Workspace ONE, the industry’s first UEM solution with an integrated data lake, AI/ML-powered analytics engine, and low-code workflow orchestrator. This gives IT teams the tools to accelerate insights to actions, driving smarter and faster outcomes.
Our AI strategy drives this vision forward with four stages:
- Alert: Workspace ONE delivers predictive Insights (GA) via Omnissa Intelligence
- Advise: AI-driven Guided Root Cause Analysis (GA) and Playbooks (GA) drive smart recommendations for remediation and optimization
- Assist: Omni (beta), our AI assistant, drives natural language support for in-product help and analysis
- Autonomous: Our platform brings these elements together, alongside future agentic AI workflows (announced at Omnissa ONE), to drive full self-configuring, self-healing, and self-securing workspaces
Autonomous features in Workspace ONE use predictive AI to help IT teams pinpoint root causes and resolve issues proactively, while keeping the human in-the-loop as required for compliance. For example, detect rising app crash rates via Insights and correlate them to a specific hardware model with Guided RCA. This combined with Playbooks, which provide step-by-step guidance for helpdesks, not only drives efficiency but dramatically improves employee experience.
Omni (which will be generally available later this month) is a major leap forward. It will bring generative AI and large language models to the Omnissa platform, enabling conversational support and advanced analytics across Workspace ONE UEM, Horizon, Intelligence, and Omnissa Connect. As part of our strategic vision, we believe the autonomous workspace starts with people, and we’re building it together with customer and outcome-centricity at its core.
Security centric management

Fragmented endpoint management and security tools create blind spots and allow attack surfaces to grow, and Omnissa addresses those gaps. Security-centric management at Omnissa spans vulnerability management, mobile threat prevention, secure access, compliance/sovereignty, and operational remediation — delivered as one integrated and unified approach — not separate tools. We also recently updated Enterprise Application Repository (EAR), which streamlines how teams discover, configure, and deploy now over 10,500 Windows enterprise apps. These apps are managed directly in Workspace ONE, so when a vulnerable app needs to be patched, rolled back, or replaced, you can do it fast.
Workspace ONE Vulnerability Defense (currently in beta) is our AI-driven security offering that transforms how organizations identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across physical and virtual endpoints and apps. By combining Workspace ONE UEM with CrowdStrike Falcon® Exposure Management, companies get the context security teams need (what’s vulnerable, where it’s running, who’s impacted) with the control IT needs (policy, patch, and configuration), enabling faster decisions and reductions in mean time to remediate. In-depth defense extends to mobile, where human error is often the first compromise. Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) now also analyzes links before they’re clicked, increasing protection against SMS-based phishing (smishing) attempts and reducing reliance on user judgment. With the combination of these solutions, Omnissa now offers a full-spectrum endpoint risk and remediation strategy that spans desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual apps.
Secure access is built into the model as well. With Omnissa Secure Access Suite, Google Chrome Enterprise Premium and Omnissa Workspace ONE enable secure browser functionality. The suite provides secure, seamless access to SaaS and web apps for critical use cases (like BYO) and supports regulatory-compliance requirements across key industries (like healthcare and financial services). And for organizations with strict sovereignty and regulatory requirements, Omnissa Sovereign Solution for Workspace ONE provides a locally hosted, serviced, and supported UEM environment through a trusted technology partner.
Frontline device management

Workspace ONE includes features and capabilities purpose-built to support mission-critical devices used by frontline workers, alongside existing mobile and laptop deployments at scale. These include low-touch enrollment and configuration; the ability to customize, lockdown and enable check-in/check-out on shared (shift-based) devices; device and app analytics and automation; and real-time view and control capabilities to remotely assist workers in the field or onsite. And with Workspace ONE, you can scale quickly to support new and innovative mobile technologies like BYO programs, augmented and virtual reality headsets, peripherals, digital signage, and interactive kiosks.
To support a broader range of frontline and IoT use cases, we’re expanding our platform with native support for MQTT — a lightweight, scalable protocol that enables rapid integration of diverse device types. By adding this IoT foundation to our suite of applications, we’re unlocking powerful automation, advanced reporting, and seamless cross-device workflows. Printer support is currently in limited availability, with broader IoT support to follow. We also introduced device-wide app usage insights, device utilization metrics (like awake versus asleep time since last boot), and app performance indicators (like data and battery consumption) — giving frontline organizations a clear view into whether a device is being used, how it’s being used, and the operational impact of those apps. Together, these metrics enable smarter legacy app decisions (i.e., whether to maintain or end-of-life), license optimization, and improved performance across your devices. We’ve also made improvements to Workspace ONE Launcher with enhanced customization options (when it comes to section labels, folder icons, and interactive widgets) and support for SSO into MSAL-enabled apps (like Teams and Outlook).
The bottom line
Omnissa isn’t just keeping pace with the industry — we’re setting it. Through generative AI, a modern SaaS architecture, and comprehensive support for a wide range of devices and operating systems, Workspace ONE delivers secure, autonomous, and scalable experiences that transform IT operations and elevate employee experience.
