Welcome to "Walk This Way" — a new kind of webinar series from WWT and Omnissa, built for IT pros who know there’s a better way to deliver frictionless experiences with the Omnissa platform.

Why "Walk This Way"?

In a world where hybrid work is the norm, devices are everywhere, and IT teams are stretched thin, the question is: How do you keep employees productive, secure, and supported — without burning out your team?

That’s where "Walk This Way" comes in.

This series is your guide to rethinking the modern workplace—through the lens of DEX and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). It’s not just about managing devices anymore — It’s about making every digital moment count.

Why tune in?

Because we’re not talking theory. We’re showing real-world, boots-on-the-ground (or sneakers-on-the-floor) use cases, like:

  • Proactively fixing problems before users notice them
  • Measuring mobile performance to support frontline workers
  • Reducing IT tickets with smarter insights and automation
  • Making UEM, VDI, and DEX work better together—not in silos

You’ll hear from the experts. See live demos. Learn what’s working for organizations just like yours. And walk away with actionable ideas you can use immediately.

This is your chance to move from reactive to proactive. From complexity to simplicity. From status quo to standout.

So, if you’re ready to step into the future of the digital workplace—we’re walking it with you.

Episode 2 recap – App Management that actually works

If you’ve been following our Walk This Way webinar series, you know we’re taking a fresh, no-fluff approach to end-user computing with real stories, practical insights, and a look at what’s actually working in the wild.

In Episode 2, we dove into one of the most common pain points for IT: App Management. Whether you’re supporting hybrid or fully remote employees, the challenge is the same—how do you ensure apps are available, up to date, secure, and running smoothly?

To tackle this topic, Nilesh Deo from Omnissa teamed up with Andrew Ridner of World Wide Technology (WWT) to explore the future of app delivery and experience management. This wasn’t a “death-by-slide” presentation. It was a candid, engaging conversation packed with insights from the field. In this conversation, Nilesh talked about how App Volumes can now support both virtual and physical desktops, extending the Apps Everywhere vision. He also showed a demo of how app delivery works for the physical desktop environment!

Here’s what else we covered:

  • Why traditional app deployment strategies are failing in today’s modern workplace
  • How unified app delivery and performance visibility across virtual and physical desktops can simplify IT and improve the employee experience
  • Real-world examples of how WWT helps customers optimize app experiences using the Omnissa platform

Episode 1 recap – DEX for mobile

Episode 1 – DEX for mobile – was packed with insights, laughs, a killer demo, and even some fresh kicks for three lucky winners.

WWT kicked things off (pun fully intended)

Jared Brummer, principal solutions architect at World Wide Technology, opened the series with flair, sharing what "Walk This Way" is all about: a journey into the future of work where tools for IT are required to empower employees and simplify IT operations. "Walk This Way" isn’t just a catchy name — it’s a call to action. It’s an invitation to follow a smarter path toward delivering seamless, secure, and scalable experiences for your employees—wherever they work, and on any device.

Enter Omnissa

Bryan Vest, product line manager at Omnissa, stepped in to share the bigger picture — who Omnissa is and why we exist. Our charter is clear and powerful:

We empower employees to do their best work from anywhere through smart, seamless, and secure experiences.

It's not just a mission — it’s our mindset, baked into every product, every update, every interaction.

DEX for mobile in action: Use cases that matter

Nick Brouillette, product line manager at Omnissa, brought the fire with real-world mobile use-cases that showcased the power of our DEX solution:

  • Battery performance monitoring – see why device health is in jeopardy (and productivity!!)
  • Lost device prevention – proactively track down at-risk or misplaced devices.
  • Device utilization – make informed decisions on fleet deployment and optimization.
  • Network monitoring – understand how signal strength and latency impact user experience.
  • App performance – monitor and improve the apps your workforce depends on.

And yes, he brought receipts — a live demo that gave everyone a closer look at how intuitive and impactful these insights really are.

DEX + UEM = PB&J?

Andrew Ridner, principal solutions architect at World Wide Technology, wrapped us up beautifully, painting a picture of DEX and UEM as the ultimate combo—like peanut butter and jelly. Tasty on their own, but way better together. His real-world perspective and analogies drove home just how transformational it can be when IT stops reacting and starts proactively supporting great employee experiences.

Nike winners & what’s next

We ended with a bit of fun — congrats again to our three winners of fresh customizable Nike sneakers! But the journey doesn’t stop here.
