Starting August 29, 2025, Omnissa removed mandatory training prerequisites for new certifications, making the program more accessible and flexible.
On December 10, 2025, Omnissa launched two new credentials:
- Omnissa Certified Engineer (OCE) – Horizon
- Omnissa Certified Engineer (OCE) – Workspace ONE
These legacy exams are retired. Existing credentials remain valid until expiry. Unexpired credentials will be honored as prerequisites for higher-level certifications.
If you have an OCAP / Specialist exam scheduled with Pearson Vue, you can:
- Proceed with your scheduled exam.
- Cancel for a full refund and register for OCE instead.

All Omnissa credentials are valid for two years from the issue date.
To register:
Use Clarus to browse credentials and register. Schedule exams through Pearson VUE after registration in Clarus.
To apply a voucher code:
On the Pearson VUE payment and billing page, click 'Add Voucher or Promo Code,' enter the code, and click Apply.

All certification exams are priced at $250 USD.
To download a certificate:
- Log in to Clarus (http://omnissa.useclarus.com).
- On your Clarus Dashboard, go to My Credentials.
- Click the download icon.
To add your badge to LinkedIn:
- Log in to Clarus (http://omnissa.useclarus.com).
- On your Clarus Dashboard, go to My Credentials.
- To add your LinkedIn Profile, click Add to Profile.
All historical Certification data will be available via Certmetrics and Credly.
To download your historical transcripts, please use the following steps:
- Log in to CertMetrics (https://cp.certmetrics.com/ vmware/en/login/sso/oidc).
- Click Track your Certification Status.
- Click VIEW MORE > for your Active certifications.
- Click the Badge.
- Download the PDF by clicking Download Certificate.

If you experience a technical issue with the live lab during the exam, please report it to the exam proctor immediately. Ask for a Pearson VUE VSS support ticket to be created, so Omnissa can review and confirm any issues experienced. Issues reported after the exam cannot be validated.
