What is the opportunity?:


Product Line Manager for the Horizon Platform will drive the next generation of AI-powered virtual desktop and application delivery experiences. This role will define and deliver capabilities across Horizon 8 and Horizon Cloud, with a strong focus on intelligent automation, digital employee experience, and observability. The ideal candidate is an AI-native product leader who actively leverages modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Figma, and Atlassian Rovo to accelerate product discovery, execution, and decision-making. You will partner across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to translate AI capabilities into differentiated customer value, while driving faster, more data-informed product outcomes. This role requires a blend of strong enterprise SaaS product experience and hands-on fluency with AI-driven workflows and tools.

Here is a breakdown:

  • 10+ yrs experience with 3-5 years product management experience

  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills and a track record of translating ideas into successful products

  • Deep expertise in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) solutions

  • Strong understanding of private cloud environments, including Broadcom VMware SDDC and Nutanix, as well as public cloud offerings like Microsoft Azure, Amazon WorkSpaces Core, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Experience in product management or product marketing within a software company

  • Proven ability to collaborate across business development, product marketing, program management, support, and engineering teams to drive successful product launches

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience; public speaking experience preferred

  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies

  • AI-native product mindset with hands-on fluency in modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Figma, and Atlassian Rovo to accelerate product discovery, execution, and decision-making

  • Demonstrated ability to apply Generative AI and intelligent automation to enterprise SaaS workflows, including PRD drafting, customer research synthesis, prototyping, competitive analysis, and roadmap planning

  • Experience shaping AI-powered product capabilities such as digital employee experience (DEX), observability, predictive insights, and AI copilots for IT administrators and end users

  • Strong data and analytics fluency — comfortable using AI-assisted tools to query telemetry, mine customer feedback, and translate signals into measurable product outcomes

  • Awareness of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, security, model governance, and trust considerations relevant to enterprise customers

  • A strong technical background, preferably with B.Tech/B.E/ME/Mtech. in CSE/ECE/EEE required with MBA preferred

  • Demonstrate credibility with customers, partners, field sales and cross functional stakeholders

  • Superior time project and prioritization skills

  • Some travel will be required

  • Deliver an autonomous workspace solution which is friction-free end user experience for Horizon users

  • Work directly with customers and partners to understand their issues and address with product enhancements, leverage customer feedback as a key component of product planning 

  • Analyse and evaluate complementary and competitive products, technologies, and solutions

  • Manage the product development process from inception to product delivery; write requirements, provide detailed customer use cases and UI mock-ups, install daily builds, work with engineering, and ship the product in multiple languages 

  • Work with the UX team to gather data and improve user flows 

  • Work closely with business development, product marketing, and ecosystem engineering to ensure product readiness at worldwide at launch

  • Write Reviewer’s Guides, White Papers, Blogs, Competitive Analysis and other technically-focused product marketing documents 

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and partners to drive revenue opportunities

  • Define and deliver AI-powered virtual desktop and application delivery experiences across Horizon 8 and Horizon Cloud, including intelligent automation, digital employee experience, and observability capabilities

  • Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Figma, and Atlassian Rovo throughout the product lifecycle — from discovery and prototyping to execution and stakeholder communication — to drive faster, more data-informed product outcomes

  • Translate emerging AI capabilities into differentiated customer value, partnering with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to ship measurable improvements in admin productivity and end-user experience

  • Champion an AI-native way of working across the product organization, sharing best practices, prompts, and workflows that raise the velocity and quality of product decisions


Location: Bengaluru 

Location Type:  HYBRID. This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our Bangalore office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays. 

Travel Expectations: 20% of travel Domestic/International only if business demands.
